Shivtown

The film follows the intimate journey of a young photographer who, while serving three years of compulsory military service, is compelled to confront the political shadows of his country. Stationed in a remote artillery base in the Negev desert with a film camera as his only weapon he transforms daily life into a visual diary that seeks within the imposed brutality a glimmer of hope.
