Archeologia

A documentary that reveals the most unsettling dimension of archaeology. It presents in concise and direct form the excavation work carried out by a team from the Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Polish Academy of Sciences inside the Auschwitz Birkenau camp near the former crematorium III. The recovered objects are small items of everyday use left behind by people of different nationalities who were brutally murdered in the camp during the Second World War.
